Four Las Vegas casino companies earned perfect scores this year on a major advocacy group’s annual rating of corporate practices toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

The Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, the results of which were released last week, gave a perfect 100 points to MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Wynn Resorts and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. They all scored perfectly last year, too.

The index evaluates companies on whether they have LGBT-friendly practices in place like benefits for same-sex partners, nondiscrimination policies and transgender-inclusive health care.

Companies fill out the survey voluntarily. This year, 366 of the 781 participants earned top scores.

“In order to achieve a perfect score, a company has to show a deep and serious commitment to treating their LGBT employees fairly and equally on the job," said HRC President Chad Griffin in a news release. “We also look at whether a company is speaking out in the public square to advocate for LGBT equality here in this country and around the world.”

MGM Resorts CEO Jim Murren said in a release that the ranking “further demonstrates that the principles of diversity and inclusion run deep within our company.” Similarly, a release from Wynn Resorts trumpeted the company’s “longstanding history of supporting diversity and equality” for workers and guests.

And Daniel Espino, senior vice president of the Cosmopolitan’s human resources department, said in a statement that the resort “believe(s) in creating a rich and vibrant culture, realizing that our diversity is a source of our strength.” A Caesars spokesman said simply that the company was proud that it once again earned a perfect score.

Other Nevada companies ranked in the index include the Tropicana Las Vegas and NV Energy, which scored 90 and 70, respectively.
